Hello my name is Monic @monic2001
I am a co-founder of freifunk :) I created the logo/name, layout/concept of the very first portal pages up to now, co-organized the first events and local weekly meetings in Berlin. In between I lived ten years in Hamburg, now back to Berlin I am still working with the Webteam, inventing new services to support local communities, organizing freifunk events and doing some press relations, policy work and communication across communities.

Since end of 2012 I am again a board member of Förderverein Freie Netzwerke e.V., which we founded 2003 ... I love to tinker, organize events and to start/take part in projects around open tech and free knowledge and education besides freifunk as well ;)
